It’s been a while since we heard anything new regarding the Keiji Inafune headed action game Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z. To alleviate this, Tecmo Koei has released the first in what appears to be a planned series of developer discussions or diaries. In this first video, Team Ninja’s Yosuke Hayashi and Keiji Inafune himself have a brief discussion about the game, and toss out some new details. For example, the beginning of the game will be set in Ukraine and the main character’s cyborg arm is a very important component of the game, for at least game-play related reasons.
The discussion takes place in Japanese, but there are embedded English subtitles. Yosuke Hayashi says that development is coming along smoothly, and he urges fans to toss out any questions they may have on Twitter. View the informative video below. No release details are currently available for Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z.
