E3 2013: Ubisoft Reveals Tom Clancy’s: The Division, a Third-Person MMO Shooter

To wrap up their media briefing, Ubisoft revealed what they call an online, open-world RPG – Tom Clancy’s: The Division. They can call it what they want, but for us normal people, it’s called an MMORPG. They had some live gameplay going on, and, in my opinion, it looked pretty darn sweet. The visuals were pretty on point, the subtle HUD seems sleek and convenient and the gameplay looked smooth and action packed.

I noticed as they were playing through the segment, the individual players on the team were gaining experience for various objectives and kills, including completely securing a police station with trapped officers inside.

The game has no release time-frame, but it was noted that it is coming to both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. No PC mentioned makes me a sad panda. Regardless, it looks really sweet, and possibly a contender for one of the coolest MMOs on consoles. Check out the two trailers for the title below.
