GameStop Hints at a Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster Limited Edition

The highly anticipated re-release Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster may see a limited edition release, according to this week’s GameStop ad. Apparently, pre-ordering the PS3 exclusive will earn you a free upgrade to the limited edition version. Square Enix has yet to say anything regarding such a version so this should be taken with a grain of salt, but GameStop hasn’t pulled the ad from their website yet. What bonuses would you like to see in a limited edition of Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster? The fact that pre-orders are being upgraded to the limited edition suggests that it won’t include a great deal of physical goodies, which is disappointing.

We’ll keep an eye out for an official word on this from Square Enix. Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster will be available sometime this year. The games included in the compilation will be available separately for the PlayStation Vita.

I don’t know what they could possibly include that isn’t DLC in this world today.

Maybe an artbook for the non DLC status quo?

Or a soundtrack (Of course it couldnt’ be the complete soundtrack. That’d be 8 Discs for the two games. which I would love. But it won’t happen)

Could be a digital download for them.
