With the PS4 launch bundles sold out on Amazon, it was only a matter of time until all kind of offers appeared on Ebay, but there’s one that beats them all: An United States-based user named gvg-sales decided to try to hit it big, putting a Battlefield 4 Launch Day Bundle (including one year of PlayStation Plus) for sale for the princely sum of $20,000.
And here’s the kicker: the seller promises that 50% of the sum will go to a qualified tax-exempt chart organization that, he adds, will then send a written letter with a receipt acknowledging the donation.
According to the seller this is “extremely beneficial for both parties. First and foremost, you are getting a sold out PS4 when it releases. Also you will have an extremely nice tax write off that will save you money at the end of the year and a charity will have much needed funds especially in these tough economic times.” I can definitely see how it’d be beneficial for the seller at the very least…
I’m not going to link the offer for obvious reasons, but if you really want to check it out I’m sure you can find it easily enough (you can see a screencap below), even if I wouldn’t personally advise taking it too seriously.
