World of Warcraft Goes the Shoryuken Way with Siege of Ogrimmar Trailer

by on August 15, 2013 1:44 PM 4

Blizzard Entertainment released today a trailer for World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria patch 5.4, Siege of Ogrimmar.

The main feature of the new patch, introduced by the trailer, is the 3-wing, 14-boss raid for max-level players in which you will have to try to take down Garrosh Hellscream and his “new” horde.

Another notable feature will mark another step towards making servers obsolete with the “Connected Realms” feature, that will permanently link lower population worlds, making them basically work like they were one.

You can check out the overview of the patch here and the trailer below. Don’t be surprised if “Shoryuken!” echoes in your brain at the 1.53 mark.

Hahaha, wow look how pretty that trailer is. It’s good to know they actually try now. Before when they know that they still monopolized the MMO market they just script in-game models and paste it as a trailer but this time they actually spent time and polished it to end up the way it looks in this trailer. Gotta love the competition it makes all competitors do their best to attract players.

I agree. The trailer looks sweet as HELL, but still- WoW… meh. I put a good 2 years into it and about a full year of gaming that I did nothing but game on WoW. I just can’t get into it anymore… it all seems like the “same stuff,” even though it isn’t… ya know? :p
