For someone like me, that sharpened his simulated dogfighting claws when he was little more than a kid on Wing Commander, meeting a development legend like Chris Roberts is a powerful emotion, so you can imagine how I felt when I entered the room at the CryTek booth of Gamescom 2013 where Roberts was waiting to be interviewed about Star Citizen and its upcoming hangar module.
The project has gone a long way since its humble beginnings last October, and is now sitting on over 16.1 million dollars in crowd funding, proving beyond any reasonable doubt that there are many like me, out there, that did not forget the thrill of the fierce battles against the Kilrathi.
The time in which we’ll finally be able to sit at the controls of a star fighter and navigate the endless sea of stars is drawing near, but first and foremost in only three days we’ll get to walk around said star fighter in the new hangar module.
So join me in my long awaited chat with the legend himself, where gives us a sneak peek of the Hangar Module, talks about all things Star Citizen, and even hints at a possible console release after the PC version will be completed.
And remember, it’s not too late to join the squadron and contribute to making Star Citizen soar even higher by pledging your own support on the official site.
