Sony Will Show “More than Ten” PS4 Titles at Tokyo Game Show, More than Fifty Overall

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan and Asia announced today with a press release that during Tokyo Game Show it will have “more than ten” PS4 games available to visitors at its booth.

The titles publicly announced so far are Knack, Deep Down, Driveclub, Killzone: Shadow Fall,Wolfenstein: The New Order, PlayRoom and Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, meaning that there should be at least four titles that haven’t been announced yet.

Of course we don’t know if those four or more titles are actually games that we actually never heard about before, or just titles we already know about and that Sony just didn’t confirm for the show yet.

Including PS3, PS Vita and PS Mobile, the publisher will show over fifty titles.

The PS Vita area will include Musou Orochi 2 Ultimate, God Eater 2, The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki, New Atelier Rorona the Origin Story: The Alchemist of Arland, Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends, Jikkyu Powerful Baseball 2013, Dangan Ronpa 1.2 Reload, Gundam Breaker and Tearaway.

The PS3 area will showcase Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, Gran Turismo 6, Ace Combat Infinity, Beyond: Two Souls, BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma, The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki, Sengoku Basara 4, Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends, Musou Orochi 2 Ultimate, Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, Jikkyu Powerful Baseball 2013, Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster, Rain, Puppeteer, WonderBook, Jstars Victory Vs, Armored Core: Verdict Day, Dark Souls II, Batman: Arkham Origins, RockSmith 2014 Edition and Pro Evolution Soccer 2014.

The PlayStation booth will also have a massive LED screen installed to broadcast events and gameplay, and developers will be in attendance.

We also already knew that SCEJA will host a keynote on the first day of the trade show, titled “The Creative World of PlayStation 4”.

A dedicated website (in Japanese) has been opened, and we can probably expect it to be updated with other titles between now and the opening of the event on September the 19th.

        And Santa Monica Studio title

        • Tom Rae

The Order is a Santa Monica title, have you not been paying attention?

          • Giuseppe Nelva

Actually The Order is a Ready at Dawn title. SM is just offering support.

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

Yeah, and also Tom Rae, I was referring to the new IP they’re working on, that Michael Denny mentioned at Gamescom.

          • JawBone

No, Santa Monica is the publisher. Ready at Dawn is the Developer.

      • my nutsq

How can someone disagree with a Naught Dog title :/

    • Carlo

It being TGS i was hoping something more in the line of non western stuffs >.> is it so wrong to wish for a JRPG Sony 😀

  • PhantomVash808

The four titles are Last Guardian, The new Yakuza game, Persona 5, and Ni No Kuni 2.

nah too good to be true but I do expect one of titles to be the new Yakuza game or a game from Level 5.

    • Giuseppe Nelva

I’m very doubtful on Yakuza Ishin. It doesn’t seem to be at a stage in which it’ll be playable, or ready for a show. They just announced it two weeks ago.

      • PhantomVash808

Your right about not being playable but I think it still will appear in Sony’s TGS conference or SCEJ conference.

    • Splintee

Mine is Legend of Dragoon 2, Legend of Legaia 3, new Shadow Hearts and Wild Arms 6.
      BOOM LOL

      • PhantomVash808

I would flip out if they announced Legend of Dragoon 2 it sucks Sony cancelled the sequel.

    • Darqing

      Last Guardian 1, 2, 3, 4! XD

    • foureyes oni

crash bandicoot , megaman legends 3, or onimusha would be nice as well for possible games.

  • Stranger On The Road

I recall reading something about Final Fantasy XV being playable in TGS, could that be one? Going with that, perhaps, A Realm Reborn?

  • Balalaika

Im looking forward to Dangan Ronpa 1.2.

  • Something

Is everyone forgetting that game called Basement Crawl that is a launch title for PS4. I’m guessing that is going to be one of them.

  • André Alves

Please someone tell me WHATAHELL IS Batman: Arkham Begins?!?!?!!?

    • Giuseppe Nelva

A mistranslation mixed with severe lack of sleep lol.

  • ifniarcnum

this picked my interest… now i’m curious.

  • Jessenia Lopez

    good to know

  • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

So I’m guessing this will be live streamed and possibly have the presentations in English and Japanese-that is a translator is present- so that pretty much anyone around the world can see TGS 2013? or no?

    • Giuseppe Nelva

they said nothing of the sort for now.

The conference schedule indicates the presence of the translator, but that’s normally to translate what English hosts say to Japanese.

      • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

Ok, but in the past has it been live streamed before?

        • Giuseppe Nelva

          Not always.

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

Gotcha. I suppose there will be an announcement on that soon since it’s only 3 weeks away or so.

  • TheExile285

I wanna see some big Vita & PS4 announcements Sony. For Vita, I want Gravity Rush 2 and Freedom Wars gameplay trailer.

  • foureyes oni

i’m guessing someone is spamming downvotes?

    • None

      Xbox fanboy?

      • foureyes oni

        probably major nelson

  • ObsessedGeorge

Just show us The Last Guardian… Please?

  • Oldman_Rage

I’d love it to be something new but somehow I doubt it. I don’t expect to see some new earth shattering game reveal at TGS. The 4 unmentioned games will likely be Indie titles. I hope I’m wrong… I do love surprises.

  • Jake Seigel

Lets not forget all the indie titles like octadad and hohokum that they probably counted to get to 10

    • Federico Saravia

Actually to get to ten you dont need to count the indies. Add to the seven games mentioned above: Diablo III, The Elder Scrolls Online, Mad Max, NBA 2k14, Call of Duty Ghosts, and Battlefield 4, to name a few (ok not a few, almost all of the AAA titles)

  • Federico Saravia

am i missing something? Why four titles? With The Order, there are 8 titles for ps4. so at least three new games not four?
