EA Releases Details Concerning Battlefield 4′s Open Beta Start-Dates

Coming only two years after its predecessor, Battlefield 4 is poised to be one of this year’s largest launch titles when the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are released between mid and late-November. With such a robust community, it goes without saying that there are hordes of people out there that would love to get their hands on the game in any way, shape, or form prior to its release.

Electronic Arts has released the official list of dates and conditions necessary for gamers to be able to join the upcoming beta of Battlefield 4. Detailed here and expanded upon below:

How to Join: Join the Beta on:
Pre-order the Battlefield 4 PC Digital Deluxe Edition (Available on Origin) October 1*
Battlefield 3 Premium member October 1*
Registered owner of Medal of Honor Warfighter Limited Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition October 1*
Open to all Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC players. Download from Xbox Live, PSN and Origin.com. October 4*

Battlefield 4 is being developed by DICE and will be published by Electronic Arts for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC between late October and late November. The beta will not be available to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players.

    Will the open beta data carry over to retail? I can’t find any info on this. With how devs do “betas” nowadays, you can’t just assume anymore.
