Saints Row IV Does it Again with its Insane Enter the Dominatrix Launch Trailer

A long time ago, Enter the Dominatrix was being developed for Saints Row the Third, until THQ (the game’s former publisher) decided to roll the content into Saints Row IV. This included the super-powers prevalent in the game, in addition to other content. It appears that the more risque that did not make the cut, will be included in an expansion for Saints Row IV, once again titled: Enter the Dominatrix.

Volition is probably the best developer when it comes to over-the-top humor and satire in games, and their trailers are one of my favorite things about this business. I am not kidding. They literally poke fun at the expansion’s development and their ideas. The trailer also depicts some old friends returning, in addition to teasing new weapons and missions.

Saints Row IV: Enter the Dominatrix is available now for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. You can check out the hilarious trailer below.

It’s kinda sad that some sandbox action/adventure only way like saint’s row will get some attention is to make ridiculous idea like this because of the overhyped and overrated GTA series. I hope ubisoft’s watch dogs becomes a success.

Nah, this stuff works for Saints Row since it is so completely over-the-top and unhinged.

    I totally want SaintsRow:The4th!
I hate it’s gone silly & less sinister but i’ll side with Saints a billions times over GTAV any day.

Yeah but if it tried to be more serious and grounded, people would just claim it was a GTA “clone.” At least with this direction it’s making a name for itself that isn’t attached to GTA.

To be honest GTAV seems more as a gangster retirement simulator. SaintsRow is more action orientated.
It doesn’t have to be grounded to be sinister or serious.
SaintsRow’s over the top concepts, multiple enemy factions, character creation, is far different then any GTA title.

Like in GTAV what enemies are there besides the police or military?
SaintsRow:The3rd alone there’s 3 different gangs, the police, 2different military branches (army/STAG), 5 different specialists, 3 different Brute specialists, helicopter snipers, attack chopper.
The survival challenges alone these enemies provide is enough to differentiate SaintsRow:The3rd from GTAV.
I’ve faced those enemies in SaintsRow:The3rd’s free roaming & they’ve given far more of a serious challenge then what i’ve seen of GTAV’s free roaming aspects.

I’ve faced all that in SaintsRow:The3rd with no silliness, no comedy whatsoever.
So if a SaintsRow title kept that & was 100% more sinister it would be deadly.

SaintsRow separated itself the moment it added the opposition of gangs/military/police, male female character, & over the top action.
The only people that still think SaintsRow is a GTA clone are the 1s trying to deny that SaintsRow is a great game.
