PS4 Exclusive Deep Down Gets New Concept Art, Information on Monsters, More Coming Next Week

Capcom released some new information about the PS4 exclusive free to play RPG Deep Down, that is scheduled to start its beta testing after the launch of the console in Japan.

We learn that the pig-like monsters shown in the Tokyo Game Show demo are called “Hog” (how imaginative), and they appear in the dungeon set in Bohemia in 1494. Variants of the same monster will infest other dungeons.

Those variants will be different in body and hair color, and will also carry different weapons and some will even use magic items.

Below you can see a piece of concept art portraying the Hog. Capcom also promised that next week they’ll introduce some of the monsters that were only glimpsed in the Tokyo Game Show trailer.

  • You are flat out wrong

This could be good if Capcom don’t mess up the F2P model.

Needless to say, I am sceptical.

But Capcom are known for giving their customers good value for money?

I don’t know, but they’re certainly known for destroying their IPs.

Dragon’s Dogma was a great new IP and a risk-taker as any new IP is.

They have yet to destroy or milk it (Not saying they won’t) but I have faith in Capcom on this project, the staff seem to know what they’re doing and the quality thus far that has been shown comes to show a great potential unlike other horrendous Capcom games. It’s night and day.

I think i’ll wait for the ultra ultimate gold edition.
