ShockCast Ep. 150 – “Condense the Nonsense – Next-Gen is Upon Us”

by on November 13, 2013 10:15 AM 3

Host’s Note: DO NOT be alarmed when you hear Joel say “this is episode 1 of the ShockCast.” It is explained in the paragraphs below. Enjoy!

In January of 2010, a few guys named Joel, Yaris, Chad, Brendan, and Evan got together and recorded the first ShockCast. Nearly four years later, some of the voices from the earlier shows are no longer with us, and some are still here. A few aspects have remained and will continue to remain for the duration of the show: humorous, current, and edgy content that you all enjoy.

With that being said, the intro to this week’s ShockCast is very special, as it is an extended version of our original and new themes, with some of the funniest clips, old and new, interspersed throughout. I spent the last few days curating the ShockCast catalogue in order to bring you an unprecedented intro for the ShockCast. Listen and let us know what you think!

This week was all about the next-generation of PlayStation, along with some talk about The Last of Us‘ upcoming DLC announcement, and more about GTA Online. This week I was joined by Joel Taveras (Deputy Editor), Al Zamora (DualShockers TV Host), Jorge Jimenez (Staff Writer), and Ryan Meitzler (Staff Writer). Many thanks to El Blanco Niño for our custom intro and outro.
