Watch_Dogs’ Release Date Listed for March 21st by Retailer, with Delivery Date Guaranteed

After the delay Ubisoft has remained quite silent about the release date of Watch_Dogs, but today the European retailer Shopto listed the game with a release date of March 21st for all platforms, as you can see here, here and on the screencap below.

As for Driveclub‘s release date listed as well by Shopto, the retailer goes as far as putting its money where its mouth is, by offering a delivery date guarantee and promising a compensation of £5 if the game isn’t delivered by March 21st for any reason.

Of course, since no official announcement has been made by Ubisoft, you should treat this as a rumor for the moment.

We’ve reached out to Ubisoft for a clarification on the release date, and we’ll keep you updated if we hear anything relevant about it.

£55? I’m not buying a single NEW game until prices go back to £40. I ended up getting fifa 14 for £40 pre-owned, because it was £60 brand new!

I agree, this is a complete rip-off, I’m sure that they can still easily profit from games still being £40, in Canada the price of next-gen games are still the same as last-gen games (PS4 Prices=PS3 Prices).
Why should Britain (or any other country for that matter) be any different?

Look closely at the wording on shopto’s site it guarantees delivery by the release date. If that date chanfes so does the day they guarantee delivery by. The date there is just given as its the day they expect.

Actually it states “We are so confident you will receive Watch Dogs for Friday 21st March that if for ANY reason you do not, we will compensate your account with £5.00” – That’s pretty confident!
