Besides the well deserved triumph of Dragon’s Crown, we can also an unsurpsing good placement for the PS3 version of Terraria, while the massively anticipated God Eater 2 was beaten by Dragon’s Crown itself in the PS Vita chart, but still did very well.

The PS1 archives chart shows that Japanese gamers still love their classic Final Fantasy, with five different chapters of the franchise grabbing the top five spots and Tactics coming up in ninth, with the Chrono series sandwiched in between.

Free to Play games were dominated by Phantasy Star Online 2, that still didn’t get a western release date, even if today we got signals that something may be moving. Here’s hoping…

Funny how digital is much more expressive on handhelds.

japan is the only place where the more seller dlc is not call of duty,i can be wrong but since 2007 ever a call of duty dlc is being number 1 in the ranks of store of usa.

  • MegaRay

Final fantasy always dominates classic section

  • PrinceHeir

glad Tekken Revolution and Phantasy Star Online 2 is dominating the F2P section :)

maybe it’s time for Sega to bring the game on consoles, particularly PS4 with all the new updates and a world wide release :P

Dragon’s Crown dominating is a good sign :) same with Earth Defense Force 4 ^^

glad to see Terraria in there as well! i’ve seen a lot of JPN videos alongside Minecraft so Japan isn’t afraid of playing western games. though why was Terraria listed twice?

Dragon’s Dogma Arisen woohoo!! Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus, God Eater 2 and Muramasa on top!!

shame there’s no The Last of US :(

funny how most of these games are very diverse and different in each genre. you won’t see these kind of list on western chart :P

Wow, I didn’t think DD would be so big with Japanese Vita owners. :O

Considering the Vita’s lower base when compared to the PS3, it’s interesting how Vita games rated so high. Evidence, if needed, that Sony are clearly making more money in Digital downloads then on retail sales. The console might be doing more successful than people think.

    DC FTW.
