Star Citizen Gets Ultra High Resolution Screenshots and Artwork as Crowd Funding Flies Past 38 Million

by on February 8, 2014 7:09 PM 3

Chris Roberts’ Star Citizen is continuing its incredible crowd funding maiden flight, with the game sitting comfortably atop $38,230,736 from 385,497 backers, and Cloud Imperium Games released a batch of new artwork to make our mouths water.

And that’s not all, as the beautiful pictures (some of which are actually in-engine, with just some effects like lens flares added) are provided in extra high resolution, in order to let us enjoy them pixel by pixel.

I think I found my new wallpaper, or several. What about you?

not all of them are screnshots as you can tell…dunno what chromatic abberation means, maybe ya mean everything looks like chrome but the F7C shown in there is in most cus its the one thats the most complete and will be the only ship you can fly in the dogfight module

Game of the decade in coming hahaha. When you see the bengal carrier (not in the screenshots) thats not the carrier youll be seeing game its getting an upgrade prolly to something that more ressembles a super carrier cus of all the funding
