BAFTA Game Awards Reveals 2014 Nominations List, The Last of Us and Grand Theft Auto V Take the Lead in Award Noms

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts annually honors the best in movies and video games each year, and returning for its 10th year for video games, the organization has revealed its nominees for the best of gaming for its 2014 ceremony.

With the release of its full list of nominees for this year’s ceremony, the list is entirely varied and features categories organized by genre and achievements. Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us takes the lead in this year’s list with a total of ten nominations, while Grand Theft Auto V and Tearaway following very closely behind with nine and eight nominations, respectively.

This year’s ceremony will be hosted by Dara O’Briain, and will be taking place on March 12th, 2014 in London, with the event also offering tickets for public attendance for the first time ever in the game awards’ history. The full list of nominees for the ceremony is below:
