Future Iterations of Final Fantasy Could be Developed for PC

The popularity of older Final Fantasy titles on PC and Steam along with the development teams enthusiasm for the platform means that Final Fantasy’s future iterations may actually be developed for the PC alongside its console counterparts.

“We see potential in it and there are lots of regions and countries where PC is very strong,” Square Enix’s Yoshinori Kitase told Eurogamer, “so in terms of our hope of being able to deliver our games to every single country in the world and to as many gamers as possible, yes, we would definitely be interested in pursuing that route in the future.”

Final Fantasy XV will be published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A PC counter-part has not been announced.

Probably a spinoff that should be for iOS instead, so that people on Steam can take 4K screenshots.

I really don’t mind in whichever platform they release it. The more the merrier but for the heart of gold, release relevant news please SE! This game has been the one FF game I’ve been waiting for for so long ._. We’re not even near the “teasing” phase. I can’t even remember when they first started teasing us with this 06 / 08? >.<

Yes, PLEASE. I mean, with steam it’s essentially just Free money these days.

I’d kill for PC versions of FFXII 1–2-LR.

Considering their new engine was developed entirely around DX11 and PC, I don’t see WHY not. I mean it’s like Kojima and Fox engine. It was all done and shown on PC, so why neglect ?
