Major Nelson revealed in a new blog post that select Xbox Live members will be chosen to preview a major update premiering in March, as well as any future updates for the system.

Beginning today, selected participants will receive an Xbox Live message with a token to register. The participants will be asked to provide valuable feedback before the updates are implemented worldwide. The next system update will begin rolling out next week to those who will preview the new features.

Once registered, participants will be able to test the early features included in the update, provide feedback on a private forum and even opt out of future waves. According to Microsoft, updates coming in March will significantly improve the multiplayer and party experiences on Xbox One.

It seems all MS knows how to do now is bury themselves and make things worse. As if all the underhanded and anticonsumer antics of theirs wasn’t bad enough. I’m just glad I don’t have anything more to do with Microsoft and xbox ever again.
