Monaco: What’s Yours is Mine became a quick indie hit last year with its blend of 2D action and stealth gameplay, and luckily it seems the game responded well with gamers, resulting in quite a good amount of sales for the title since its launch.
Developer Pocketwatch Games revealed that Monaco: What’s Yours is Mine has sold over 520,000 copies since the game’s launch last year across four platforms (PC, Mac, Linux, Xbox 360). The studio sent out a tweet celebrating the games sales, with founder Andy Schatz later revealing some breakdowns of the game’s sales to date.
With the game included in this week’s Humble Indie Bundle 11 alongside other titles like Guacamelee! Gold Edition and Dust: An Elysian Tail, Monaco’s sales numbers only includes about half of the Humble Indie Bundle sales so far, with surely more to come with the bundle still available.
In addition, Schatz also mentioned that out of its over 520,000 in sales, only about 36,000 of those copies were on XBLA, with the remaining value spread across the game’s other platforms, noting that the console version’s delay “unquestionably hurt” its potential sales.
Sales update: We're well over half a million units of Monaco sold! (~520K), only includes about half the HIB sales since we are BTA
