Sony’s CEO Kaz Hirai Already Playing Driveclub; Is the PS4 Exclusive Finally Close to Release?

How does Sony’s President and CEO Kazuo “Kaz” Hirai relax during the little leisure time he gets? Apparently by playing Driveclub and Gran Turismo on his consoles, as he told Variety in an interview.

To clear his mind, Hirai likes driving his sports car with the top down. When he’s not on the road, he still prefers the driver’s seat, playing videogames like “Driveclub” and “Grand Turismo” on Sony’s PlayStation. “As you can tell,” he says, “I love cars.”

If Hirai-san is already playing it, could the upcoming but delayed PS4 Exclusive Driveclub finally be close to a state in which it can be released?

Unfortunately Sony Computer Entertainment has been dreadfully silent on the subject lately, so we can only wait and hope to hear an official announcement soon.

Sorry in case I missed the news, but did they say how many cars we are going to get? more importantly which cars? Or how many tracks? I can’t seem to find this information.

This is one of the games I’ve been looking forward to, along with the The Crew… but sadly, not a lot of news regarding the ‘important’ part of the games is being published…. the cars 🙁

I hope that game is polished like a diamond. After the delay it’s had, it will either be just about perfect or a complete mediocre title.

    • Bankai

I highly doubt it’ll be mediocre, especially from what has been shown so far.

It’s supposed to come out in late Spring

Kaz did not know DriveClub was pushed back.
