Yesterday I had a chat with Sucker Punch Studio Head and Co-founder Brian Fleming, during an inFAMOUS: Second Son preview event in Rome, and I took the chance to ask him how much the day one patch of the game will weigh on our hard disks.
Fleming mentioned that he believes it’s about 350 Mb, and the studio “worked hard to keep it small.” He also added that we should really take our time to download it.
I highly, highly recommend people pick it up. The improvements and other things inside of it are well worth the time to download it.
It’s definitely nice to see that Sucker Punch thought about those of us that don’t have ultra-fast internet connections, or have to live with download limits (seriously, I don’t know how I’d survive with that), by making an effort to keep the patch small.
We’re only nine days away from the launch of inFAMOUS: Second Son, and the wait is starting to be really hard to bear for many, but I doubt a few minutes more to download 350 Mb of data are going to hurt us that much.
