During the Active Time Report Page 4.0 broadcast, Game Director Hajime Tabata answered a few questions about the the Episode Duscae demo of the game.
We learn that the demo will be available one hour after the release of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, and will take about three hours for a complete playthrough of the story. Of course you could take much longer given the open world nature of the game.
If you plan to purchase the digital version of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, the demo will be included for the first two month after release. After that it won’t be offered anymore. On the other hand, a download code for the demo will be only in the first print of the physical version.
The funniest thing about the demo is that your goal is basically to make enough money to get Noctis’ car back. In order to do so, you’ll have to face a few quests.
We also got the first glimpse of the map of the demo, which you can see below. Looks like there’s quite a lot of terrain to cover, and you can even fast travel between specific points set up for camping.
Tabata-san also mentioned that the full game’s map will be between ten and twenty times bigger.
