Quantum Break Getting New TV Commercial, No Steam Release; A “Masterpiece,” According to Aaron Greenberg

Quantum Break is steaming ahead towards its release on on Xbox One and Windows 10 April 5th, and today Xbox Games Marketing Head Aaron Greenberg mentioned a few interesting pieces of information during Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb’s podcast

First of all, Microsoft is working on another TV commercial for the game, that’s in Production right now. Greenberg reviewed it on the day the podcast was recorded. He also mentioned that it’ll include licensed music.

That seems to indicate that it’ll come with a song from a well known artist, even if we’ll have to wait and see who it will be.

Secondly, Greenberg was asked if there will be a Steam release, but he denied the possibility, mentioning that Quantum Break for Windows 10 is going to be a Windows Store exclusive.

Thirdly, he clarified that the achievements for the game will be a single set, shared across Windows 10 and Xbox One, pretty much like the old Games for Windows Live used to work. If you unlock an achievement on Xbox One, you won’t need to unlock it on Windows and vice-versa.

Last, but not least, he gave his opinion on the game:

“We’ve been busy launching all our our Holiday titles, so we’ve been kind of quiet on Quantum Break, but we’ve been working very closely with the team at Remedy, and they’re frankly making, I think, another masterpiece. They have a great heritage of making incredible games. I’ll tell you one of my favorite games was Max Payne, I played that to the end. Then there was Max Payne 2, another great title, Alan Wake, just a fantastic, fantastic game. And I think one of the most anticipated title we’re releasing is Quantum Break.”

It’ll definitely be interesting to see how far the game will go. Personally, I’m quite excited to finally play it, and I’m curious to see what kind of music Microsoft licensed for the TV commercial.

dumb steam beggars are gonna cry over this. stupid pc mustard idiots.

    • Dynasty2021

Yeah we’re so busy playing at non-treacle framerates that make games feel and play so much better.

But you kids have fun with Uncharted and…oh wait, I’ve run out of exclusives worth mentioning.

And if you cant afford a PC, you’re more likely the beggar living in your parent’s basement. Peasant.

      • Sunny11

Who’s the ones making nude mods and sex mods? Oh right PC gamers. Go back to your basement and play with your virtual waifus sad PC Virgins.

        • Dynasty2021

I love how you assume that the peasants wouldn’t be downloading them if they could.

But they can’t do mods can they.

          • Sunny11

How cute trying to spin it now and admitting it 😉 also you got owned judging by the number of up votes I got against your comment LOL fail, try harder kid 😉 Thanks for the laugh

          • deAtH-[b+Y]-steReO

Upvotes? Really? Somebody sounds desperate for approval….

          • Sunny11

The denial is strong with this one

          • deAtH-[b+Y]-steReO

What exactly am I supposed to be denying or is that just your pre-programmed response when you have no valid rebuttal? Trying to validate your argument based on upvotes is pathetic and you know it. Deny that

          • Sunny11

First he admitted what I said was true and he tried spinning that, then I showed many people agreeing with me and you all of a sudden got so butthurt out of nowhere or are you his Alt account? Hm.. Try harder.

          • deAtH-[b+Y]-steReO

            are you his Alt account?

You know that I’m not. Look, I have no interest in playing your childish games. I just pointed out that anyone can find someone to agree with the most ridiculous arguments. Hilarious that you think they upvotes mean anything. You try harder, I don’t care enough to try at all

      • Sadaharu

You did not make PC players sound more smart.

        • Dynasty2021

As smart as, say, a peasant who thinks exclusives are the main reason to get a console?

If that’s the case, I’m a genius in comparison. There isn’t a single exclusive worth having this generation.

          • Sunny11

Is that so? Then why is it that a petition made by you filthy PC Port Beggars got 50k+ signs to bring Bloodborne to PC? ROFL

          • Sadaharu

Most of those “peasants” probably have better gaming PCs than yours. We wouldn’t mind spending an extra $400 for a game we really want. Some of those games are just simply good: Forza 6 and Forza Horizon 2 for example are better than all racing games on PC in the recent decade.

So why don’t you shut up here and stop hating?

    • Jax Teller

Dude you know people are going to beg for Steam release. I don’t know why.
My PC has games on Steam, Origin, Uplay, Battle.net.

      • Yeltnerb1

The last thing PC gaming needs is platform distribution exclusivity. Half of Quantum Break’s PC sales are GONE!

  • Chris

Cant wait to play this game.

  • Dynasty2021

“Secondly, Greenberg was asked if there will be a Steam release, but he denied the possibility, mentioning that Quantum Break for Windows 10 is going to be a Windows Store exclusive.”

Ahahaha, good luck selling that then. I’m sure the pirated version will be far more popular, as there’s no way I’m upgrading to Windows 10 for what will undoubtedly be yet another generic console exclusive.

    • lon3wolf

You won’t be able to play a pirated version though without Windows 10, nothing wrong with Windows 10 either just turn off all the tracking features etc. and it’s all good.

      • Nettrick Nowan

“either just turn off all the tracking features etc. and it’s all good”–Actually, no it’s not. If you think that, you need to do more research. Not that I’m not going to get Windows 10, but I’m aware of the privacy issues that will exist, regardless of what you turn off.

      • Sunny11

You can’t actually turn it 100% off if you heard

    • Jugo94

Wait so if you don’t have dx12 how would you play/pirate it?

      • Are you for real? You won’t be pirating the W10 Store. Stick to pirating crappy Steam games, anyway, you won’t be playing online with a hacked game what’s the point.

        • Stranger On The Road

QB is a singleplayer game, there is not MP in it.

        • Jugo94

I think you’re replying to the wrong person.

    • Good luck trying to pirate the unhackable Windows 10 PC Store. Rather glad muppets like this don’t get to play it. Best upgrade & actually pay for a game you mug shot

      • HyperTsunaz

Serious question, why can’t games on the Windows Store not be pirated?

        • If we knew that they would be getting hacked. Best not to know.

          • Stranger On The Road

you are confusing the store with the downloaded game, once the game is installed on the PC the crackers would attempt to remove the DRM and the Windows Store requirement. That would enable the piracy of the game.

The store itself doesn’t need to be touched, the game that is already downloaded and installed on the PC that would need to be attacked, cracked and pirated!

          • deAtH-[b+Y]-steReO

            beat me to it

          • Beat you to the cheeky ass comment? Get a grip & buy the Windows 10 Store games. I for one want to see Gears 4 & Halo on PC. I don’t wana see one idiot bootleg any of them.

          • deAtH-[b+Y]-steReO

It’s not cheek. Its information. You are misinformed, we corrected your misconception. That is all. Take it as you will

          • HyperTsunaz

Exactly what the others said is true. I was wondering because it would just be cracked and pirated like any other game with DRM like Steam, UPlay, etc.

          • No, won’t be happening because you need the Xbox app to launch the game. Nobody will be pirating W10 Store downloads

          • deAtH-[b+Y]-steReO

all that means is that they will have to code a loading app. Anyway, I’ll put a pin in this discussion and when the first torrents show up on the site, I’ll let you know.

          • Your like the Xbot version of a PC gamer, they get butthurt when peeps threaten to take away exclusive games. In your case, when someone threatens to take away pirated games, you get all defensive. You have issues. I hope you enjoy playing your pirated games Offline with no friends, Buahaahaha

          • deAtH-[b+Y]-steReO

I don’t pirate games. I’m just better informed than you are.

          • It wasn’t insulting, just pointing out that we have to buy the new Xbox games on the Windows Store to get Gears 4/Halo/Forza I’ve pirated plenty of games in the past, I’m no angel, but I would like to update my Xbox gamerscore on PC. So enough with the smartass comments

          • deAtH-[b+Y]-steReO

See? Here’s the problem with DRM in an open platform like Windows. You may be clever and come up with ways of making it hard to beat but there will be thousands upon thousands of people trying to break it and some of them WILL be smarter than you. There is no way around this other than a closed system like the consoles.
            Free lesson. You’re welcome

          • Do you actually have Windows 10. ?

          • deAtH-[b+Y]-steReO

Yes I do. Do you actually have a point?

          • There is only one First Party AAA game on the Windows Store. ROTTR peeps are trying like bears to access the DLC unlocker, they can access the exe folder but have to edit complex Windows security perameters.

          • deAtH-[b+Y]-steReO

Windows is an open system. Anyone can access the code. There was a time when Securom was enough but now its a joke. Same will happen with this. Too many people with too much time on their hands. It’s only a matter of time

          • HyperTsunaz

Thats the point of cracks, they prevent the need of DRM. The only thing i can think of that can stall the pirating of a game for a awhile right now is Denuvo, but 3DM recently, has already claimed they have a solution against it.

      • deAtH-[b+Y]-steReO

You don’t need to hack the store. All you need to do is crack the installation directory and remove the calls to the store. Someone will figure it out.

        • I wouldn’t fiddle around in there, the police will be knocking. It’s hard to actually find where they are installed now. Once you do actually find it, its hidden by the way, nothing can be copied from there, it won’t let you.

          • deAtH-[b+Y]-steReO

Wow, you really don’t know what you’re talking about. Anyway, I don’t pirate games, but not because of some stupid idea that the cops will show up at my door

        • You will only ever find the offline steam version of the game. No Xbox game will ever be on Steam, Maybe someone will make it playable on the Evolve client for you.

          • deAtH-[b+Y]-steReO

You will only ever find the offline steam version of the game.

There is no online content for this game.

Maybe someone will make it playable on the Evolve client for you.

I’ve already told you. I’m no pirate, I care about Windows gaming. I’m merely informed

    • Sunny11

Lel DirectX12 is Win10 exclusive and soon all games will be DX12 only you’ll be upgrading later whether you like it or not 😉

    • William Fenton

I’m fed up of these morons who act like Windows 10 is some plague.

It isn’t, in fact it’s up there with XP and 7, and it has DX12– which has huge potential.

      • deAtH-[b+Y]-steReO

I like it well enough once I closed all the security holes & performance leaks. I still think Win 7 was their best but 10 has one advantage over Win7. Its free 😉

    • SHREDDER OROKUSAKI

Good laxck pirating Denuvo games. JC3 Rise of the tomb raider fifa 16 e.t.c are all unkracable.

      • deAtH-[b+Y]-steReO

        Huh, really?

        • SHREDDER OROKUSAKI

They only found a solution through famliy sharing. Still the only way to play it is to buy it. Same goes for Unravel. Just cause 3 fifa 16 e.t.c. and all the others games that will be using Denuvo from now on. I have already finished the game since 1,5 week ago while pirates are still waiting.

          • deAtH-[b+Y]-steReO

IDK, I don’t pirate games, I just go there for TV shows and see the listings. Doesn’t matter though, I guarantee you that at this very minute thousands of crackers are working on a solution. Securom used to be a show stopper too. Only a matter of time

          • SHREDDER OROKUSAKI

Ι aldo dont pirate games however the new denuvo games has not been cracked so far and for us it dosent matter if they ever will since we are buying them.

          • deAtH-[b+Y]-steReO

TBH, I’m not really interested in this game anyway. I’ll have to wait and hear some reviews before I make any real decision on it.

      • HyperTsunaz

3DM has said they found a solution. Older versions of Denuvo has also been bypassed already on older games. Nothing is ‘un-crackable’, even Denuvo said it themselves.

        • SHREDDER OROKUSAKI

Yes but if each Denuvo game takes months to get cracked most people can not wait. They want to play games at release date and not months or weeks later.

          • HyperTsunaz

Each Denuvo game will not take months to get cracked. Only the first few games to implement a new version of Denuvo as it’ll take time to find a solution but then subsequent games will be faster to crack. Once they figure out the solution, its up to Denuvo to make their move.

    • White Wolf

Serious question, why would you not want to upgrade to Windows 10? It’s awesome.

  • Terminator

Good no steam release, if you want to play it on your so PC better go and support Microsoft

    • Kite

No steam release means Gaben doesn’t get 30% of the cut. I do hope microsoft makes their store a worthy competitor to steam. First game I’ll probably buy on MS store is Killer Instinct if it doesn’t get delayed. Rise of the tomb raider I still bought on steam since that’s where most of my games are.

      • YuriFan

PC gamers need to stop giving him pointless recognition. The guy has done f*** all and only just made Steam.

        • Yeltnerb1

Congrats, that is the dumbest statement I have ever read.

        • deAtH-[b+Y]-steReO

Only JUST made Steam. LMAO….only single handedly saved PC gaming from MS’ attempt to undermine the platform and created a competitive marketplace for commercial as well as indie games…..also inspired multiple competing marketplaces. You’re right, he didn’t do much at all…. 😛

    • This has to be a parody.

  • wrestlefan01

canceled my uncharted preorder to get this..will have to wait a month after uncharted is out to get it..but looking at this game it seems to be something different.

    • crazysapertonight

yeah. Ucharted 4 will be good, but without innovations. QB looks like new expirience

      • Bilal Prince-Ali

its not always about innovation… its more about re-imaginings… People generically use the word innovation and give no real reasons as to why a product isnt innovative and when they do what they look for isnot innovation but rather a re-imagining of what they expect to find in game play and to that Uncharted has already shown us a few ways its going to surprise us. So you can just chill…

        • wrestlefan01

im just looking more forward to QB due to it being new..uncharted will play a lot like the last of us and the other uncharted game..canceling wasnt a knock on the game..just ready to try something new for a change

          • Bilal Prince-Ali

i understand that, i completely do… But Uncharted wont play like The Last Of Us, tbh Uncharted will play more like QB than TloU than Uncharted will play as TloU..

But hey at least you get to enjoy something new while the rest of us have probably what will be the game of this gen so far in Uncharted lol

  • James

Pretty sure a rock with an xbox logo would be a masterpiece to Greenberg. I like the console, but i’ve never been able to stand his PR.

    • deAtH-[b+Y]-steReO

is the man even really a gamer?

      • Daniel Lawson

he’s been in the industry for over a decade

        • deAtH-[b+Y]-steReO

Yes, I know he’s been in the business for a while but does he actually play games or is he just a PR guy?

          • deAtH-[b+Y]-steReO

In other words, would he even know a good game from a bad one?

  • virtualmatrix

Well, I’m not happy about this but I’ve never used Microsoft Store before so I’ll give it a try. I do prefer all my games to be in one place and that is Steam. I don’t own Origin or Uplay and the only reason I’m giving this a shot is because it’s integrated into Windows 10.

  • gameformetoo

I’m not getting it if it’s not on steam

    • Malik

Cool, I’ll let you, and your silly allegiance, how it is.

      • gameformetoo

Stupid. It’s not fanboyism. It’s that windows store is broken. May I remind you about tomb raider issues

        • Malik

Please enlighten me to the problems. Please tell me how it is broken because I have had not a problem at all. Every game that has launched on Steam has been perfect too, yes? The problem with your comment and why it’s non-sense is because you never mentioned “I’ll wait and see how things go on the Windows Store” You flat-out proclaimed that you won’t get it. That’s an allegiance. If you are not even willing to see if it will work, will not even wait until it’s actually released, before banishing it, that’s allegiance. But your money, your choice.

          • tooFunk 2Druk

Malik, have you ever experienced Games For Windows Live? I think the “fanboyism” you interpret is actually a legitimate fear of trusting MS, (again) to not rob the customer via DRM. MS are not the only villains here, and Steam is not perfect either. However, many gamers would prefer to limit the number of services required to use the products they paid for, (EA, Origin, Uplay, Blizzard, Rockstar, GFWL… the list goes on).

          • gameformetoo

Yes, that’s what I’m trying to tell him but he doesn’t get it. If it came down to it, i would even use origin but microsoft no. Too buggy and misguiding

          • Daniel Lawson

there is no Games For Windows Live so I’m not sure what you’re talking about

          • tooFunk 2Druk

You are correct, I’m just implying that this is pretty much GFWL 2.0. Whether or not this can be agreed upon, there are many downsides to the Windows Store. I could elaborate, but it was said better here: https://www.reddit.com/r/pcgaming/comments/45mkib/quantum_break_getting_no_steam_release/

          • Daniel Lawson

the reddit is full of shit… I can’t even talk about it… NDAs but many of the things spoken are bullshit… also dude shouldn’t have said anything about his beta of Fable… there are download issues for sure it can occasionally just bug out, but I’ve never had that happen on my PC just my phone

          • Daniel Lawson

for example I can recored and stream Windows Store games using OBS and VSync is in another beta… I think this has more to do with the developer an porting the game over… the SLI/cross-fire issue shouldn’t be a problem on DX12 games… so long as you have DX12 hardware

          • gameformetoo

I did say i’ll wait…to another comment. Steam store is not perfect BUT steam has a bigger platform and is in fact, more reliable than windows store. Steam gives u console and pc experience combine. With windows store…it’s juat there. Hell, if this game cam out on gog or even origin I’d be willing to deal with that but not Microsoft store. Shame on you too because you know microsoft abandoned pc for a minute and now want to comeback cause it’s thriving. There’s nothing wrong with buying it on your end and your one of few that tr worked for but fact still remains windows store suck. Unless they make an overlay for windows(and i don’t mean xbox but something unique for 10) I’ll think about it. love 10, dislike the store.

    • Sick of Labour

I’ve not bought a single EA game since they stopped releasing on Steam and it looks like I’ll not be getting this game either. It’s not about allegiances, it’s about not wanting to buy games from a digital storefront that could disappear (and Microsoft has form with this, the old Games For Windows store was shut down which IIRC disabled any games bought on there).

Steam is by now a trusted and (mostly) reliable platform, why would I trust MS again?

    • Black Heaven

If I may ask why are you not buying the game simply because it’s not on Steam?

Is it inconvenient? You don’t feel like upgrading to Win10? Or perhaps something else?
If you have an Xbox One you can always buy there…

      • gameformetoo

It’s because windows store is broken. Look at what happen to tomb raider and all the other games release on it….what ever happen to fable???

        • Black Heaven

          I see.

I didn’t really know much about windows store. As for steam, I use it, but quite rarely. Games I’ve played recently in pc were mmos, and they got their own client software

          • gameformetoo

Ok. That’s understandable. Ppl on here commenting on my comments, making it sound like I’m a console fanboy arguing over two technically low end pc but I’m not. I’m a pc gamer that uses the best client based on my needs and windows store is a big no no. I might buy it from windows store but I’ll wait til the reveiws start pouring in.

          • Black Heaven

That said though, Steam may also benefit from a competition (a good one, not a broken DRM-riddled system). Steam is pretty much a platform of its own, not just a simple digital retail.

If QB’s really good, I’ll give it a go too. For now, it’s on my radar.

          • gameformetoo

Yes, smartest thing to do. Wait and watch microsoft does not offer the pc environment steam, gog, or even origin offer. See, microsoft is trying to be at top with gaming while competing with apple and google app and chrome store respectively. To me, it’s too much a bound to fall in one area.

          • Daniel Lawson

Steam is hardly the best client… because it’s required… GoG is better because it’s unneded

  • HyperTsunaz

Come on, i like all my games together. Even ubisoft and EA games can be bought from Steam. Maybe its just an OCD thing for me, but everyone uses Steam, not many use the Windows Store.

  • Budz

I knew it, win10-x1 crossbuy and exclusive, MS isn’t gonna destroy Sony, but Steam

    • JPRacer77Qc

Kind of agree. If all games would be cross-buy on xbox one — Win10/MS Store… I wouldn’t use Steam that much.

    • Stranger On The Road

technically it isn’t cross-buy, but a pre-order offer, if you don’t pre-order the XB1’s version then you will not get the PC’s version. And if you buy the PC’s version, you won’t receive the XB1’s version. At the very least that is how I understand their page. http://www.quantumbreak.com/windows10/

any way, EA couldn’t destroy Steam, why would Windows Store do that? It is doubtful that 3rd party publishers will buy into cross-buy since it could affect their sales on the PC, unless Microsoft change the current approach and simply issue the free copy instead of issuing a redeem key that the gamer can sell on ebay!

      • Budz

no no no, i’m not talking about this preorder thing, i’m talking about MS future plan.
why would Windows Store want to surpass Steam? why not? any digital distributor would love to do that.

        • Stranger On The Road

Steam make billions every year, while on the other hand Windows Store doesn’t make much on games since nobody goes there for games*, so it is natural that MS would want to bring some of that money to their store.

that also explains why Valve is trying to push gaming on other platforms and is using GNU/Linux for their SteamMachine. And they are heavily involved in Vulkan that is meant to rival DX12, but is used on none W10 machines!

          * to my knowledge, no serious gamer buy their games from Windows Store

          • R3BiRtH

Vulkan does work under windows 10 machines. Vulkan is a Multi-Spec API, and it runs on multiple platforms. Vulkan support is based on the drivers released by AMD and Nvidia, in which Nvidia has already stated that Vulkan works on Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8/8.1,10 as well as Linux. The reason why Valve supports it is because of it’s capability of being everywhere, while DX12 is only on widows 10 (which is frankly stupid to be honest), and it being everywhere works for steam as valve supports their store on everything that is a computer (from all of windows, to linux). Vulkan rivaling DX12 is good, and it should succeed so that games aren’t beholden to a specific Operating System in terms of their rendering code (which is largely the hardest part in it’s creation).

What makes what microsoft is doing, stupid, is because DX12 and the windows store are restrictive in their efforts to “benefit” PC gaming, while at the very least valve isn’t doing things like that. both DX12 and the windows store only work on one OS, while steam and vulkan do not care about the OS at all.

          • Budz

as long as i know, MS is not a pessimist company
if they are pessimist, there won’t be competition on the market
they have have to try to prove their choice
“no serious gamer buy their games from Windows Store”
maybe not yet, but there will be if it’s works

of course you won’t agree with me, because you still think as loyal Steam consumer with pessimism to other competitor

          • Stranger On The Road

for the record, I’m not a loyal Steam consumer, heck, I don’t even remember the last time I bought a game from their store. If the game isn’t on GoG, then I’d rather get it on the PS4 🙂

The corporate slavery down here is equivalent to console drone fanboyism :

AND WE GREEKS DUE TO CAPITAL CONTROLS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BUY THE PC VERSION! THAT A SHAME! I WAS GOING TO BUY IT DAY ONE FOR MY PC RETAIL BUT NOW I CAN NOT BUY IT AT ALL SINCE SHOPS FROM ABROAD DONT ACCEPT MONEY FROM GREEK PAYSAFE CARDS!!! GRRRRRRRRR ONE THE MOST ANTICIPATED GAMES FOR ME AND I CAN NOT PLAY IT! I HAVE THE POWER(2500K 3,3GHZ 12 GB RAM DDR3 1600 MHZ GTX 970 G1 GAMING 4GB) BUT HOW TO BUT IT NOW?

  • Knowing what sort of limitations are in place in Windows Store, it’s almost hilarious to think that the day has come where I’m regretting to see Microsoft not using GFWL anymore.

  • Karol Niecik

No steam release, no buy. Im not against Windows Store version, i’m really don’t care, but why don’t realise it on steam, why? You don’t need our money your choice. I hope that very soon game will be cracked, I don’t use piracy version for 15 years but you dont really give me a choice.

    • Stranger On The Road

they are trying to bring gamers into the Windows Store, just like EA is bringing gamers to their Origin store.

any way, considering that the game will require XBLA and a Windows Store installation, it will not be available on Steam due to Steam’s policy. The same policy that resulted in EA’s Origin games not being on Steam.

that said, Steam is just a store, the same way Origin and Windows Store are just stores, if you have not issue buying from one then you shouldn’t have an issue buying from the other.

So I’ve heard… Blind Loyalty to Steam may be considered something similar to brand loyalty to consoles of choice.

Perhaps one has some preferences to be loyal to steam. Some are okay, like Steam Community or Achievements; some are… borderline fanboyism. As long as his reasons are good for supporting steam, then I see no problem.

That said, do I really have to make an XBLA account? *_*
I am kind of a trophy hunter in PlayStation. Thinking of owning an under-achieving Xbox user account doesn’t sit well with me. 😛

More involved than simple loyalty. MS has pulled the rug out from under PC gamers before when the discontinued GFWL. They’ve fixed it since then due to consumer outcry but for about a year, I couldn’t play Batman Arkham Asylum or Bulletstorm. It makes my leery of giving them my money.

          • Black Heaven

I see. That’s fair enough reason to be careful of them.

Is that some kind of drm? As in you couldn’t play games you bought from them without signing in or something?

          • deAtH-[b+Y]-steReO

Yeah, pretty much. It also tried briefly to be an online store though they really didn’t have their hearts in it. Pretty much the opinion of the PC gaming community was that GFWL was more of an attempt to undermine PC gaming rather than advance it. Even when it was online, it was buggy and unreliable

Maybe you dont hear how playing game from Windows Store looks like, tip: i even worse than a GfWL. WS game do NOT SUPPORT MODS, force vsync, itp. Like i said, i don’t against WS just give as normal version on other services, not have to be even steam, gog, origin, uplay looks a lot of better than WS wright now.

    Good!

I don’t care it’s on PC. Just wish they were upfront about it. Just 1 week ago they released the Greatest Games lineup commercial with QB headlining and at the end it still says “Xbox One Exclusive.” Just days later they announce it’s on PC. Just tired of MS not being upfront about stuff lately. When people asked them on Twitter a few weeks ago about QB coming to PC after that Brazil leak they still lied and said only on Xbox. It’s a joke.

Microsoft, it’s tactics like this that make people hate and fear your success. That’s just my opinion though, so now for some speculation. First of all, the system requirements seem far too demanding to be realistic, and this is almost always due to poor optimization. Second, I’m having deja vu with the implementation of DX12 in Quantum Break and the hype of Mantle in BF4. It’s unknown how well this API will perform in it’s early release, but a juicy AAA title with the DX12 sticker on it just might print money, right? I’m betting that the the console and PC versions will perform very similarly at release, but it won’t matter because MS will already have your money. If this is what the long awaited PC support looks like, then I’ll be praying for Vulcan and Linux to all sorts of gods I don’t believe in.
