PlayStation VR arrived in October of last year to allow PS4 users to experience games in a whole new dimension, with the platform’s launch bundle (along with a brand new bundle) available in stores next week for those that have yet to dive into the VR experience.
In an update on the PlayStation Blog, Sony has announced that the $499 launch bundle for PlayStation VR will be returning to stores next week while supplies last at participating retailers. Along with the headset, the launch bundle also includes the PlayStation Camera, two PlayStation Move controllers, a PSVR demo disc, and a copy of PlayStation VR Worlds.
Along with the return of the launch bundle, Sony has also revealed that an alternate version of the bundle will also be available next week featuring the on-rails horror shooter, Until Dawn: Rush of Blood. The new bundle will be identical in its contents to the original launch bundle, other than the inclusion of Until Dawn: Rush of Blood.
PlayStation VR and a variety of titles exclusive (or compatible) to the platform are available now for PS4. So far, the platform features nearly 30 games that are compatible with the VR headset, including games such as Batman: Arkham VR, Thumper, and the recently-released Resident Evil VII: Biohazard.
