During a panel at PAX East, Final Fantasy XV Producer Haruyoshi Sawatari and Global Brand Manager Raio Mitsuno provided more information on the upcoming DLC packages for the game.
Sawatari-san mentioned that the DLC are about giving back to the fans, and creating content that they will keep playing and enjoying. Square Enix expects the other character DLC (Episode Prompto and Episode Ignis) to have the same scale and size as Episode Gladiolis.
On top of that, Sawatari-san teased that for those who play Episode Gladiolus, there will be “a little surprise” at the end about Episode Promto.
While he did not give further detail, it’s likely to be some form of teaser trailer, even if this is just my personal speculation.
Today Square Enix also showcased the official trailer of Episode Gladiolus, and that NieR: Automata composer Keiichi Okabe created two tracks the DLC. You can also enjoy more gameplay from yesterday.
Final Fantasy XV is already available for PS4 and Xbox One. Episode Gladiolus will release on March 28th. Episode Prompto doesn’t have a firm release date yet, but will launch in June.
