Nintendo Goes in For Closer Landing in New Screenshot of SSB Wii U/3DS Pilotwings Stage

on August 14, 2013 9:09 AM

Earlier in the month Nintendo provided an overhead look at the announced Pilotwings stage coming to Super Smash Bros for Wii U/3DS, but today Nintendo seems to be going in for a closer look with a new screenshot detailing what exactly the stage is all about.

With a new screenshot posted on Nintendo’s official page for the upcoming Super Smash Bros. games, the Pilotwings stage will have Nintendo’s rowdy mascots fighting on top of a biplane while circling and traveling along the island landing strip, with Wuhu Island noticeably in the background of the stage.┬áIt definitely seems like fans of the F-Zero levels (or like the Delfino Plaza stage in Super Smash Bros Brawl) will have lots to look forward to for some good ol’ Pilotwings action in the new games.

Super Smash Bros for Wii U/3DS will be scheduled for release in 2014.
