I do not know if 2K Games intended this, but the voice-over in the latest trailer for XCOM: Enemy Within is too hilariously similar to how some would describe the current U.S. government shutdown. The voice-over talks about a rogue organization (Exalt), undermining the field operations of the XCOM team. It is not right on the nose as the top comment on the trailer would suggest, but it is certainly as humorous as it is depressing to see that a video game's plot is so synonymous with the hardships that the country is facing at the moment. The expansion pack, which will install hours of new content on top of XCOM: Enemy Unknown, looks very fun by the way.

XCOM: Enemy Within is being developed by Firaxis Games and will be published by 2K Games for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on November 15th, 2013. You can check out the new trailer below.
