2K Games has unveiled the alternate cover for NBA 2K18 featuring Kyrie Irving sporting a Boston Celtics jersey.

Unlike the original box art, Irving is shown with his hands on his side in the updated cover while the Cavaliers version shows him going in for a layup. You can check out the new box art down here:

According to the publisher, this NBA 2K18 cover will be available at some point in the future. However, 2K did not specify when the cover will be accessible.

Several weeks ago, Irving left Cleveland and joined the Celtics family. Since 2011, Kyrie Irving has been one of the league's elite point guards has and has appeared in the NBA Finals three straight seasons, winning one in 2016. However, after losing to Golden State in the NBA Finals in the previous season, he requested a trade.

NBA 2K18 is scheduled to release on September 19th for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. Those who pre-order it, however, will be able to obtain the game four days early on September 15th.
