30 Minutes of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Gameplay to be Shown Tomorrow

on June 18, 2014 10:36 AM

Kojima Productions presented a 30 minute long demo of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain at E3, but it was behind closed doors, so very few people actually had a chance to see it. That’s going to be amended tomorrow, as the same presentation will be livestreamed, as announced by Hideo Kojima himself on Twitter.

Tomorrow at Kojima Station (7pm JPT), we will show you the actual MGSVTPP gameplay demo(PS4). Pls note the presentation will be in English.

TPP gameplay presentation (30mins) equivalent to what we showed in E3 that only 600-800 people had witnessed. Will be at Kojima Station tmrw!

To wet our appetite, Kojima-san also gave some information on the demo itself:

E3 gameplay demo received much better than expected. It was closed-door & video shooting wasn’t allowed so it hasn’t been revealed yet.

TPP is free open world game, it’s hard to give u a presentation. The more u get hands on, the more u get to know such freedom & amusement.

With that said, it’s disadvantage to show it in limited time at the show unlike Linear game that can be presented like a movie preview.

Looks like we’re in for a treat tomorrow. 7 PM Japan time translates to 11 AM in the UK and 6 AM Eastern time, so you better set your alarm… Or you can just watch the recording afterwards, I guess.

You’ll be able to see the livestream below as soon as it’ll start.
