It was only a matter of time before 3D technology hit the gaming industry. Most of us, unless you live somewhere in Cameroon, have experienced the 3D thing in movies theaters and tradeshows, and some of us, such as Al, Joel and myself, have gotten some hands-on time with it via gaming. While most skeptics are debating whether or not the technology will improve gaming as an overall plausible undertaking, others are indeed making things happen -- Sony is one of these people.

While you're sitting there ogling your expensive HDTV trying to forgive yourself for not waiting a tad longer for Sony's HX803-series Bravria 3DTV, due to arrive in Europe this June, you're probably going to slam your face on your keyboard a couple of times as you read this and find out that buyers/owners of Sony's 3DTV will also receive four free 3D PlayStation 3 games. Ouch anyone? Whether the "free games" will be given out via comrpised PSN codes or compiled on one disc has yet to be said, but the promotional titles, which include WipEout HD, Motorstorm Pacific Rift, PAIN and Super Stardust HD, will also be made available on PSN at the same time.

We're not sure, as of yet, whether or not the Americas, which means us over here, are getting a similar promotion -- but once we get word of something, we'll make sure to keep you guys posted. Plus, I wouldn't mind playing Motostorm in 3D and throwing up all over the place. To those of you who are against 3D gaming or think it isn't going anywhere, I'm calling it now and saying that it is, in fact, going to be the next big thing since underwear with dick holes were introduced.
