777 The Crew PS4 Beta Screenshots Show a Giant Road Trip Through America, Nice but Flawed Graphics

If you’re curious on how The Crew’s beta looks on PS4, I’ve got you covered. Yesterday I took a Nissan 350 Z on a giant road trip all over America, starting from Detroit, then working my way west to Seattle, then south to Los Angeles, east to Miami and finally north to New York.

It actually took a few hours, showing just how big the map of the game is, and below you can see a whopping 777 screenshots as a memento of the trip.

The game actually looks quite fetching, with very nice (even if at times slightly exaggerated) lighting and a wide variety of environments. There are also some rather visible flaws, especially strong aliasing that often creates jaggies with which you could cut bread, and alpha artifacts when you’re  looking at certain items through smoke.

Of course the game is still in beta, but it’s less than a month away, so I’m not so sure if the aliasing situation will be improved, but  if you’re looking for a big game The Crew will definitely do the trick.
