8-Bit Night Looks Like an NES Did Its Thang With a Lite-Brite

…and in case you were wondering, yes, that is a very good thing. RetroSouls’ game 8-Bit Night is now available to purchase, and I’m once again surprised that I had not heard of this one before.

8-Bit Night is a puzzle platformer that lets you play as both yourself and a ghost version of yourself. How’s that work, you say? Well, at any time you can literally flip the level and switch places with your ghost self, leading to some very clever puzzle elements.

If you’re still fuzzy on the concept, check out the trailer after the jump.

Pretty, no? You can purchase it on RetroSouls’ page for $9.99, or if you’re still not convinced, go ahead and try out the demo.

His focus is on indie games specifically, valuing gameplay and ingenuity over sparkly visuals and ridiculous gimmicks. When he's not geeking out over the newest art game, he's out toning his sexy, sculpted shoulders while surfing epic 1.5ft waves, or having a good time with local, high-gravity microbrews.
