For fans of Hatsune Miku Project DIVA F comes some exciting news--Sega has revealed a sequel called Hatsune Miku Project DIVA F 2nd, the announcement coming on the heels of the North American and European release of the first game.

As explained on the official site, the series title refers to the game being a "simple yet exhilarating rhythm game starring the electronic diva Miku" and the "F" refers to the version of the game (capital "F" for PS3 and lower case "f" for PS Vita). The "2nd" in the sequel's title represents the deepening of the DIVA theme and the overall evolution of the series.

The rest of the announcement was devoted to describing the upgrade in graphics, songs (including duets with Miku and Luka and Miku and Rin) and cute outfits for Miku, Luka and Rin. While Hatsune Miku Project DIVA F 2nd won't be out until Spring 2014, you can catch a glimpse of the game in the screenshots below.
