A Retail Expansion is on the Way for Disgaea 4

I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking that Disgaea 4 hasn’t even come out in North America yet, and we’re already talking about an expansion? That’s because the game has been out in Japan for a little bit now, and has had its fair share of DLC already. But, it was leaked in the latest Dengeki PlayStation magazine that Nippon Ichi will release a retail, disc-based expansion for the title this fall, that will include four new missions and, most likely, loads of other goodies. The retail version will sell for ¥4179 (roughly $50). If you’re one of those weird people not into physical copies of games, you will also be able to download it from the PSN for ¥2000 (about $25).

Whether or not this expansion will come to North America after the game’s release, or in what form(s) it will be available, is still unknown, as this is news announced for Japan only. Knowing NIS America, though, we’ll see this content in some manner eventually.
