A Wild Sceptile Appears as the Next Fighter in Pokkén Tournament

The wild crossover title Pokken Tournament is bringing the epic, colorful fights of the Pokemon series over to arcades and the Wii U next year, and yet another challenger is approaching in the form of the Grass-type Sceptile, who has now been confirmed as a new fighter in the upcoming game.

A new Japanese trailer published by developer Bandai Namco confirms that Sceptile will be joining the ranks of Pokken Tournament and its roster, which already includes some of the series’ most beloved pocket monsters such as Charizard, Machamp, Lucario, and many others.

Pokken Tournament is currently available in arcades in Japan, while the Wii U version of the game will release in 2016 – in the meantime, you can check out the Japanese trailer featuring Sceptile below:
