Aaron Greenberg: Xbox First Party Game Sales Up 72% YoY, Congratulates Sony on Great NPD Result

on December 10, 2015 7:37 PM

November’s NPD results are out in the wild, and Microsoft Studios Marketing Group General Manager Aaron Greenberg had some information to share about them as well on Twitter.

First of all, Greenberg mentioned that Microsoft’s first party games saw a 72% increase in sales year on year.

Secondly, he mentioned that gamers bought over three million combined between PS4, Xbox One and Wii U consoles last month, also displaying some sportsmanship in congratulating Sony for the “great NPD sales.”

Update: Greenberg also followed-up by clarifying that PS4 and Xbox One sold about 2.8 million combined.

Do you remember those people that spent years preaching that consoles were dead? I do, and no day passes in which I don’t laugh at them.
