Sloclap and Devolver Digital released another trailer for Absolver today that details the deep character customization system present within their methodical "online melee action" game.

The system seems to go pretty deep; even though you can't see your character's face, there are tons of clothing options for one to deck out their character with. Players gain even more gear as they progress, and can use it to adapt their characters stats and make it feel like their own. The trailer states that their are over thousands of options, which is great for an online oriented game such as Absolver.

For those who may not know, Absolver takes place in the fallen Adal Empire, as players try to prove whether or not they are worthy of becoming part of the elite titular corps of Absolvers. While wondering the game's environments, players can encounter other Prospects that they can build a team with.

There are also a wide variety of combat skills and weapons for players to find and utilize throughout their adventure. Combat in Absolver is very fluid, but still methodical, meaning button mashing won't really do players any good.  There are four tactical stances in which players can execute attacks, dodges, and parries, and changing between them is necessary for survival. If you are curious about the combat, you can check out this previous "Weapons and Powers" trailer.
