Seems we need a dam to stem the flood of Phoenix Wright news. First Capcom announces Ace Attorney 5 is in development. The next thing you know, Ace Attorney movie director Takashi Miike says he wants to release the film all over the world. But wait, that's not all! As part of the merchandising campaign for the feature film, Capcom has announced Ace Attorney merchandise to complement the movie's February release in Japan including "Objection!" face towels, character stickers and, yes, Phoenix Wright brand toilet paper.

Unfortunately for anyone living in a country where there's no major city called Tokyo, the towels, stickers, toilet paper and keychains are Japan-exclusives for now. It's a real shame, too. After all, who wouldn't want a roll of TP that told guests their activities weren't condoned in the bathroom?

The news that the Miike wants the film released across all territories came during its screening at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in the Netherlands, where the movie's subtitles referred to the characters' English names. Miike then announced that this was an indication that there are plans to localize the film in several regions.
