Today Bandai Namco released a brand new trailer of Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, alongside a large batch of screenshots.

The trailer showcases some advanced maneuvers that can be executed by intentionally bringing your plane on the edge of stalling.

The screenshots are also quite interesting, as they showcase two newly-revealed planes, the Mitsubishi F-2A, and the carrier-based F-35 Lightning II. On top of the new fighters, we also get a look at the environment for mission 4 of the campaign, which appears ton be over Erusea's capital of Farbanti.

On top of the assets, yesterday we were at a preview event in Tokyo, and I was able to record another take at mission 3 (with expert controls, don't worry, Ace Combat fans). I was told that while it's the same mission showcased at Gamescom, it's an updated version with tweaked gameplay.

You can check out both videos and all the screenshots below. If you want to see more of the game, you can watch me playing the earlier version of mission 3 with the standard controls, and the same with the expert controls. You can also watch Producer Kazutoki Kono himself play another mission, read my own hands-on preview, and our recent interview with Kono-san.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown launches in 2018 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
