It's no mystery that I've always been a big fan of the Ace Combat series, and it's even less of a mystery that I'm not exactly a fan (big or otherwise) of the recent passage from the old but flavorful fictional world to the real and dull one.

Small rant aside, though, today there are good news for those that missed the release of Assault Horizon on consoles, as the Enhanced Edition for PC has been released, including quite a few of the DLC goodies and high resolution graphics up to 1920x1200 (even if Namco Bandai should know better than promising 60 fps on PC, since it's massively dependent on the rig playing the game).

To celebrate the occasion, the publisher released a new trailer and quite a few screenshots, that you can enjoy below. This is the first time that PC gamers can enjoy an Ace Combat game, and who knows, PC has always been a fairly good platform for flight simulators and flight games. It may prove a successful idea.
