Activision announces NASCAR Unleashed

Activision announced today the development of NASCAR Unleashed, that will be available this holiday season for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and 3DS.

Simulation-oriented drivers need not apply as the game will be an arcade racer at it’s very core, allowing players to select their favorite NASCAR stock car for some fast driving on some of the series’ most famous tracks, and around them. In fact they will be able to leave the circuit to continue the race on the nearby streets, beaches and off-road areas.

The presence of power-ups and boosts completes the picture, creating a racing game in which adrenaline and speed seem to count a lot more than physics.
