Advertising for Mario Kart 8 Has Already Begun in Japanese Stores

It seems that Nintendo is making big strides toward promoting Mario Kart 8 for Wii U, which we’ve already seen with the announcement of their partnership with Pennzoil to bringĀ Mario-styled go-kart racing to life.

It has also been revealed, thanks to Neo-GAF user hiska-kun, that the company already started using in-store adverts in Japanese stores for the upcoming title:

Mario Kart 8

After many complaints about Nintendo’s lack of advertisement initiative, it’s refreshing to see the company really go all out to promote one of their own titles, especially such a huge one that would sure to increase Wii U’s install base. Hopefully we’ll be seeing more of this in both Japan, Europe and North America as the launch date approaches.
