Today, publisher Deep Silver and its daughter company Volition (the developer, who is most known for Saints Row) released a new Agents of Mayhem trailer that notably introduces and details the game's three main characters -- called the Franchise Force -- Hollywood, Hardtack and Fortune.

As previously detailed, Agents of Mayhem stars three characters: Hollywood, Hardtack and Fortune, who have self-dubbed themselves as the Franchise Force. And by self-dubbed I mean implemented by Hollywood, the "Face of MAYHEM," who sees the agency as a franchise needing to be marketed.

The trailer first details Hollywood, describing him as an "ostentatious showboat Hollywood star" and former adult film (porno) actor. Hollywood is said to specialize in over-the-top, unnecessary spectacle, and is a good mix between the characters of Fortune and Hardtack.

Meanwhile Fortune is a former "Sky Pirate," who are notorious for being "selfish, untrustworthy, backstabbing thieves." She wields double pistols and is said to be swift, damaging, and "gets results," which is why her status as a Sky Pirate is overlooked. Notably, she also comes with a drone named Glory.

Then there is Hardtack, who apparently everybody loves. He's described as "big" and "loud" and is said to enjoy annihilating Legion (the bad guys) more than anyone else. He is pitched as being tough and deadly at close range.

Agents of Mayhem is in development for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It is scheduled to release on August 15th in North America and on August 19th in Europe for $59.99 USD.
