We talked yesterday about leaks of version 3.0 of NCSoft's MMO Aion, but today more of a reality hits - patch 2.7 is live on the North American servers. So if you fancy some Daeva-on-Daeva combat, you should be able to get your fill. The new patch features both a 1 vs. 1 and 10 vs. 10 matchup for you to take on, battling it out with other players.

The 1 vs. 1 event is called Arena of Discipline, while the larger is dubbed Arena of Chaos. Yep, that's what happens when you get 20 players together in the PVP free-for-all. There is also non-PVP content, such as the Padmarashka's Cave raid dungeon, which supports up to 48 players at end game, and likely contains a lot of monsters that want to turn you into their next snack and, of course, shiny phat lewt to carry away should you be leet enough to take down said monsters. You can hit up the official Aion site to check out more on the patch, but if you play the game on a regular basis, you probably already know everything there is to know and have stopped reading well before you reached this point. I don't judge, though. Be that way.
