Al Lowe Opens Kickstarter Campaign To Remake Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards

If you’re a (very) old-school gamer like me, you probably remember Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards, that started one of the most popular sagas of the golden age of point and click adventure games. You may kow about it even if you’re a bit younger, since the game has already been remade once.

A second remake may be incoming, and it may very well be the best one, considering that original creator Al Lowe is back at the helm, but he needs your help.

Together with the development studio Replay Games, Lowe jumped on the Kickstarter bandwagon, opening a campaign to raise at least half a million to get the game going.

The “Reloaded” version of the game will have updated graphics, updated music, fully voiced dialogue and a new interface, but will stay true to its roots. You can check below for a video message from Lowe himself (and some lovely art), and then you can go here to pledge your contribution to the return of the legendary Larry Laffer.
