Alan Wake is Far From Over After American Nightmare

The writer’s story is far from over, as we have all just been promised by Matias Myllyrinne, as told to Joystiq and DICE. He calls Remedy Entertainment “crowd-pleasers”, as what the fans want generally has a habit of being a good business decision as well.

He also mentions the possibility of continuing to go digital in future Alan Wake games, citing the easy and speed of creating smaller games to be released digitally, as well as the reaction time to the public’s wishes. I’m certainly a fan of not having to wait years for the next release of my favorite series.

He ends the conversation saying that while there is nothing currently being worked on at the moment, due to the focus on the PC release of Alan Wake and the XBLA release of American Nightmare, there are certainly future plans, and that Remedy may have a “one or two surprises.” Cue me jumping for joy.
