Adam Reed is the sole employee of his company, Wreck Tangle Games, and today he announced the opening of an official website, in-game photos, and a teaser trailer for the action-adventure title Alaska.

According to the game’s new website, Alaska is intended to unveil the daily Alaskan lifestyle in a remote mountain town, but this town has a dark mystery at its heart.

“The town consists of 5 families, living in their own way, providing for themselves and for their neighbours. They all skate together on frozen lakes, fish together on the river, eat each others hunting trophies and enjoy each others company.. But their day to day life is about to change, when a body is discovered, murdered on the town’s airstrip… Who do you trust now?”

The footage in the trailer is from a pre-alpha version of the game, and is intended to suggest Alaska’s crime thriller plot without giving too much away. Although the developer is happy with how the game’s appearance has progressed, Wreck Tangle Games says that it has no intention of stopping there.

“The graphics are looking nice and it’s only in pre-pre-alpha, so hopefully in a coming update we will see beautiful sprawling landscapes to add some extra realness to the game.”
