This week we reported that Creative Assembly will announce a release date for its upcoming survival horror game Alien: Isolation at the EGX Rezzed.

According to the developers the game will release on October 7th.

It was also revealed that the game will feature surroundings that are deliberately “lo-fi sci-fi,” meaning there will be no technology developed after 1979.

In addition to this, it was announced the game will feature non-alien enemies, there will be a rafting system that allows players to make various things including weapons, and a player choice system that will change the game’s outcome based on the choices the player makes.

Alien: Isolation will release for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
