Wargaming.net has released the first gameplay trailer for their naval combat game World of Warships right before their upcoming test weekend.
World of Warships is the third entry in Wargaming.net’s series of “World of” games, coming after the highly successful World of Tanks and World of Warplanes. Launching torpedoes, firing shells from starboard and deploying planes from the flight deck, the game looks fast and frantic in action.
If the trailer wets your appetite, make sure you keep your eyes peeled for the World of Warships ‘Rock, Paper, Scissors’ test weekend that starts Friday, December 12th and ends on Sunday, December 14th. The test weekend’s name comes from the game’s rock-paper-scissors approach to naval combat through battleship, cruiser and destroyer class warships. Considering how early the game is in development, the large testing audience will give Wargaming.net critical feedback to help them tweak the experience and make it even more enjoyable over the coming months.
