Alone Devs Address Fan Concerns, Unveil a New Character

Greenwood Games, developers of Alone, have received some questions and concerns from their backers and fans pertaining to the game’s length and value. Currently, the second-tier pledge of $10 will entitle backers to a digital copy of the game, of which the length is a mere 45-minute playthrough. The developers have responded to this concern by promising to implement, “player choices and multiple endings in Alone.” While this does not lengthen the game’s average playthrough, it does indeed add to its replay value.

The developers also revealed the first character, who is currently nameless, from their game-within-a-game, The Witching Hour. You can check out the image of him below.

Alone is being developed by Greenwood Games for VR and will be published on PC, Mac, and Linux. At the time of this posting, the game has received over $3,000 of its $25,000 base goal, across 138 backers, with 26 days left in the campaign.
