Amazon Slashes Xbox One + Kinect Prices Heavily in Europe: Priced €400 to €450 Just Before Gamescom

Looks like Amazon is making a rather sizable effort to sell the Xbox One in some European countries, with heavy discounts in Italy, France and Germany.

The SKU with Kinect would normally cost €499,99, but it’s currently being sold for €399,99 in Italy, €450,26 in France and €439,00 in Germany by the local branches of the online retail giant.

This is one of the heaviest rounds of discounts we’ve seen applied to the Xbox One on Amazon’s European sites, and it comes just before Gamescom. It remains to be seen if it’s just an independent attempt to sell more consoles, or a sign of something more widespread to be announced in Cologne.

For the moment, if you’re in Italy the 400 Euros deal is definitely sweet. If I didn’t already have one, I’d be quite tempted.
